A dynamic website means that many different coding languages are combined to create a seamless interface that operates more like an application, where a website works with all browsers on all platforms and has enhanced interactivity and visual appeal.
Web pages can be automatically created from data in a server-side database, pages can load new data on the fly (without requiring full page reloads, making the site much quicker to use) and much more.
A dynamic website is not the basic layout that many businesses on the web have with a several year old static page that is rarely viewed. The business world is constantly changing, so should your website.
Dynamic elements that can be added include:
- Image galleries, including image fades/full window viewing (without page reloads)
- Full featured calendars (calendar example)
- Blogs, forums, or customer comments/question/discussion pages, all with admin access to moderate
- Fully editable site content through an admin panel
- security, including captcha codes and username/password control
- File upload / download / management
- Search ability
- Online stores
