Logos… And More Logos… And Icons
A big part of web design is graphics design. Often, before building a website, we find ourselves designing logos and more for the client.
A logo design is no simple matter. Often research must be done, inspiration must be found, fonts must be selected, and several designs are usually created before a final is chosen. Proper logo design has limitations, however – it must look good very small or large on a sign or banner, and a version of the logo should have less than 3 colors, and look good with one solid color or greyscale. This will make embroidery and other printing methods that charge by number of colors more cost effective, as well as simplify the logo.
It has seemed as though we are constantly designing logos and other graphics elements, so I decided to gather the best of our recent work to showcase it here:
Along with logo creation, we also build a lot of icons and other graphics for web design and print:

"Katrina is an absolute BLAST to work with. She's very comfortable, fun to work with and always open to suggestions. With both shoots she did for us she made it a point to get the shots that I specifically asked her to get, and if I had an idea she listened and made it an amazing photo!"
"On a scale of one to ten, for professionalism, accuracy in capturing what was needed, their production timeline, public relations and most importantly, the finished product, we would give The Smiths Design no less than a 10!"
-Camille Toler, Ruby of the River Ranch
